GENUINE mini vci fw 2.0.4 vs COPY mini vci fw 1.4.1

Any difference between original and clone  Toyota TIS Techstream cable ? MINI VCI fw v2.0.4 and fw v1.4.1 differs in PCB design, protocol, and some functions. if you would want to reset immo, or make customization to cars, need at least 2.0.4 FW with 2.0.4 FW there is change in PCB, as it support VPW, and has extra security chip on the other hand, all these simple clones with 1.4.1 FW support only CAN and K line VPW protocol is unsupported in 1.4.1 FW, and there is no parts for it on PCB In short,  Xhorse-made Toyota mini vci v2.0.4 supports VPW protocol and IMMO RESET , customization, but copy mini vci cannot perform the functions. (original) MINI VCI firm...

Techstream and MVCI on 64bit Windows 8.1 & Win 10 works!

Especially download Windows XP system for Techstream interface (suggested by obd2express technicians), just to shut off the DRL'S. Then leaved it aside. Recently, wanted to shut off the passenger side seatbelt warning. My little daughter are always annoyed with that. No way!! But, only with Win 8 now. Found this last week, had a tried, and it worked wonderfully on my Asus Windows 8.1 Intel i3 notebook: http://blog.diyobd2.fr/2015/08/12/how-to-install-techstream-v10-10-018-in-windows-78-64bit-os/ The thread includes a dropbox link where you can download "all" of the needed files, but really all you need from there is the MVCI driver and the .reg registry hack file. Get the latest Techstream from: http://www.chinaautodiag.com/download/toyota-techstream-10.10.018.zip There are a number of steps to getting the driver installed manually, be sure to follow ALL of them before plugging the cable in. On my 8.1 installation, when I plugged in the TIS cable, Windows a...

MINI VCI Cable for Toyota Techstream € 25.00 Only

Image
MINI VCI for Techstream is a Toyota interface cable that comes with version 7 Techstream software and drivers that let me check a number of variables in my Lexus. I'm not affiliated with vendor, just a customer. I used it to: A. read AHC pressures to correctly crank TBs (4 turns, both sides on original set up @ 116k did the trick) - front pressures now at nominal spec and confirmed rear springs are a little tired as rear AHC pressure just outside range A valid. pressure test removes a lot of speculation and blind cranking of TB's on AHC vehicles. And yes, based on hitting my local calibrated speed hump at 30 mph it does dampen better with the correct TB / front pressure loading. B. reset steering angle sensor to get rid of annoying 10 degree off centered wheel. Not sure how many alignment places reset the SAS as a matter of course, or if you do not ask for it specifically. I know my local Firestone does a reasonable alignment in that the truck drives straight, equal turn...
